The room was spacious and clean. We could see the Great Smokey Mountain Wheel from our room. Considering this is a "built-up" tourist town, with buildings everywhere, the views are sometimes less than spectacular. Convenient to everything we needed this particular weekend. The indoor pool was a little too cool for our liking, but was clean. The hot tub is seasonal, and, unfortunately, closed when we were there. The Wood Grill Buffet is very convenient and decent for the price. The staff at both places were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. A good value for the price.
It is obvious to me the owners of this location take zero pride in this property. The front vocal point of the property has two very nasty green pools with ugly landscaping and flaking paint which I had to look at every time I sat on my balcony. They have had more than sufficient time to close the pools since summer swimming time is over!! What a delightful view!! Then ever time I went to my car in the parking lot I had to look at construction trash. The room is very basic, wifi horrible, tv channels pitiful as well as we consistent has issues with the A/C. Lobby area not at all inviting. Fake tree is the focal point! I would never recommend staying here to anyone.
Basic hotel room that is clean. Location is great and within walking distance of many attractions as well as restaurants. I would recommend getting rid of the big fake tree in the lobby and adding lots of seating, maybe even a fireplace. It is a great choice for church groups due to its cost but with no place for people to really congregate and fellowship, it leaves much to be desired. Besides the tree gives the impression of a dark, dank, musty place. Take a look at large, popular hotels and you will find a large lobby with lots of seating and lighting. Also, if there was Wi-Fi, no one told us about it.
We have stayed here twice mostly because of the great rates. Rooms are very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Desk staff Jenna is very good and friendly. Close to everything. No issues whatsoever during our stays here. A discounted all-u-can-eat breakfast buffet (6.99) is offered at their on-site restaurant. Oh and the elevator is fast and the outer side of it is glass so u can see Pigeon Forge as u ride it!
